My Fail-Proof Better-Mood Playlist

Here in London I rely on the underground (the Tube) to commute to class and to go just about anywhere else in the city. That leaves me with almost an hour a day to distract myself from the fact that, often enough, I’m crammed into a hot and packed tube carriage with dozens of others.

Whether you’re seeking to distract yourself from crowded commutes or you just need to give your mood a boost, these are some of my favorite songs guaranteed to turn that frown upside down.

  1. Riptide – Vance Joy
  2. Anna Sun – WALK THE MOON
  3. Kids – MGMT
  4. Young Folks – Peter Bjorn and John
  5. Lost! – Coldplay
  6. Maway – Dan Croll
  7. Come on Eileen – Dexy’s Midnight Runners
  8. Cosmic Love – Florence + The Machine
  9. Camera Talk – Local Natives
  10. Let Your Love Grow Tall – Passion Pit
  11. Hoppípolla – Sigur Rós
  12. When Did Your Heart Go Missing? – Rooney
  13. Send Me On My Way – Rusted Root
  14. Something Good Can Work – Two Door Cinema Club
  15. Chicago – Sufjan Stevens

Enjoy!
